  • Padded under garments: Cotton padded hosen and gambeson, Made in Ukraine by Armor Workshop Dobrynya from Nadler Metal Crafts.
  • Shoes: From Revival.us - 14th Century Low Boot
  • Sabatons: From Lord of Battles, 18ga steel. (Not generally worn for combat, but included for a more historically accurate complete suit.)
  • Greaves: 3-part, Polished 30HGSA Steel Hardened to Rc43: 1.0mm Made in Ukraine by Armor Workshop Dobrynya from Nadler Metal Crafts.
  • Knees: Floating knee cops - 1.0mm 30HGSA Steel Hardened to Rc43 Made in Ukraine by Armor Workshop Dobrynya from Nadler Metal Crafts.
  • Cuisses: Plate Cuisses. Polished 30HGSA Steel Hardened to Rc43: 1.0mm, Made in Ukraine by Armor Workshop Dobrynya from Nadler Metal Crafts.
  • Codpiece: From James the Just http://www.jamesthejust.com/ with a NuttyBuddy modern athletic cup under it.
  • Coat of Plates: Brigandine, 65G Steel Hardened to Rc37: 0.8mm and some 1.0mm, Made in Russia by ArmourShop 2XL

  • Gauntlets: Early to Mid 15th Century Gauntlets by Jeffrey Wasson Made from 4130 Alloy Steel and Hardened. (Private sale from Craig Nadler) Finger tip lames simulate "half-finger" design of the early 15th c.)
  • Helm: 12 ga. stainless steel western European klappvisor from IceFalcon Armory (Germany used klappvisors well into the 15th c., while their use had died out elsewhere by about 1360-70.)
  • Personal Tabbard/Surcote: White tabbard with the following arms on the front: "Tierced per chevron inverted: Argent, a chabot gules; sable; and argent three chabots azure."

History

  • Background in stage fighting in High School, LARPing after college, and SCA (rapier and heavy list) much later.
  • Started training at The Knights Hall
  • Fights for fun at renaissance fairs with the Brotherhood of the Arrow and Sword and sometimes with the Talbot Companye
  • Frequently squires at ACL events at The Knights Hall
  • First buhurt fight was the All vs All day 2 of IMCF 2018 in Scotland.
